Born & raised in a loud Italian immigrant family in Calgary, Alberta, Peter was infused with a love of food & entertaining at the long table dinners his parents held. He gained his Communication degree from the University of Calgary and then created, co-produced, and hosted the travel show “Little Italys” for TLN. During this time he also began to act in local theater including doing improv with the world famous Loose Moose Theatre Company, while working for Delta Hotels.

Peter’s love of travel, food and acting led him to live in Rome where he worked at The Hotel GRA & was hired as an extra on Martin Scorecesse’s “Gangs of New York.” This experience pushed him to pursue acting on the stages of New York for three years. Upon to moving to Vancouver, he began Guest Starring on shows like Supernatural, Arrow and The Good Doctor where he acted opposite stars like Dianne Kruger & Karl Urban. During these adventures he cultivated his hospitality skills by working in award winning Vancouver restaurants Savio Volpe, La Quercia, Cibo, and Brix.

All these interests melded together into Peter’s artisan pasta company, Pasta Famiglia. Pasta Famiglia began by producing bronze extruded pasta for sale at Farmers Markets & grew to supply small specialty food stores all around Vancouver, BC.

From there the company morphed into Pasta Boy Peter Inc. a cooking experience & event company where Peter offers classes, demos & private parties to a variety of clients. His talent for teaching while entertaining has led to him being asked to host classes at Barbara-Jo’s Books to Cooks, The Italian Cultural Center, Vancouver Farmers Markets & the Shadbolt Center for the Arts.

Until next time, here is a poem written by Peter that truly is his philosophy on life:

Eat with those you Love & you will stay in Love

Eat with those you Like & you may fall in Love

Eat with those you hate & you may Learn to Tolerate
